COFFEE WITH PASTOR CRAIG: DAILY AT 3:00 PM

WHCC has engaged in a daily ministry since Governor Newsom issued the “stay at home order”. The ministry is called “Coffee with Pastor Craig”. Participants gather together to help attendees process what’s happening in their lives.

Attendees can come occasionally – when they REALLY need to process things on a tough day; or attendees can attend daily. The group was set up to be flexible and accommodate YOUR needs.

The church wants you to know you would NEVER have to wait more than 23 hours to “gather” in community for support during this challenging time. The daily coffees have really extended the reach of WHCC’s ministry. We have had attendees from Alabama, Wisconsin, and Washington State participate because they need the special spiritual support WHCC has to offer!

We will also be posting Earth Day activities on our website for the children to enjoy including a Prayer Nature Walk (courtesy of children’s-ministry-deals.com). Here’s a link to the prayer walk: PRAYER WALK.

This week’s Bible study will explore the four scriptures that will be used to shape the April 26 Earth Day service: Psalm 116:1-4, 12-19; Acts 2:14a, 36-41; 1 Peter 1:17-23; and Luke 24:13-35. The study meets from 6:45-7:45 PM on Monday.

THE VALUE OF DIRECT COMMUNICATION: APRIL 19

“Hinting at what we need,” Melody Beattie writes, “doesn’t work. Others can’t read our mind, and they’re likely to resent our indirectness. The best way to take responsibility for what we want is to ask for it directly.” That can be difficult for those of us who were raised it was rude to ask for what we need.

So how do we overcome our tendencies to avoid direct communication with our loved ones? Join us for Creating Healthy Relationships this Sunday (April 12) from 6:00-7:00 PM as Pastor Craig facilitates a conversation about the topic.

To attend on your computer, tablet, or smartphone, click on this link: CREATING HEALTHY RELATIONSHIPS. If the link doesn’t work for you, you can join by phone by calling 669-900-6833 and – when prompted for the Meeting ID – enter 181 714 179.
