CROP Walk

The CROP Walk is a series of 1,100 walks that occur around the United States in an effort to combat hunger.  The walks are organized by an organization called Church World Service.

The local CROP Walk here in the San Fernando Valley typically occurs on the first Sunday in November.  Woodland Hills Community Church joins with several local churches.   The proceeds of the local walk are split: some of the proceeds go to benefit the West Valley Food Pantry while the rest goes to Church World Service.

We hope you will consider either joining WHCC’s team of walkers this November, or make a contribution on their behalf.  Details for how to contribute to WHCC’s team of walkers will be shared this October.

You can find out more about the CROP Walks by visiting the national site: CROP Walk.
