TMW (not TMZ!) stands for Tuesday Morning Worship.  TMW happens Tuesday mornings in the Breese Memorial Chapel from 9:00-9:30 AM.

The intimate gathering was originally created in the Fall of 2015 as a way of providing a worship opportunity for parents after they dropped their kids off and school.  It has since expanded its scope.

The 30-minute worship experience is an informal, highly participatory way to help folks go deeper on their spiritual journey.  It is perfect for those who have weekend obligations (i.e. kids’ soccer games, weekend jobs, or weekend getaways).  It has also proven helpful for those who have lots of duties on Sunday mornings (i.e. ushers and greeters or Sunday school teachers) and need a place where they can simply show up – without ANY obligations – and simply be present to God.

So what do the gatherings look like?

Each week, we begin with an informal version of Prayers of the People.  For the message, we use one of The United Church of Christ’s Stillspeaking Daily Devotions.  We then use the devotion as a jumping off point to go deeper through a facilitated conversation or spiritual activity.  We typically close our time together with music.

There are two ways to go about that.  You can either show up on a Tuesday morning at 9:00 AM sharp, and have the experience for yourself; or you can talk with Pastor Craig about the experience.
